Palestinian Ambassador not correct size

The Palestinian Ambassador to Ireland Mr Ahmad Abdelrazek who will be joining delegation on Tuesday in Donegal

 

Donegal County Council is delighted to be hosting the delegation from Al-bireh Municipality, Palestine in Donegal this week

 

The delegation arrived yesterday, Sunday and will stay until Thursday, April 23.  The delegates are:

 

Eng. Fawzi Abed, Mayor of AL-Bireh Municipality,

Eng. Ibrahim Ayesh, Member of AL-Bireh Municipality,

Mr. Ahmad Badran, Member of AL-Bireh Municipality

 

The delegation will learn about the economic, social and cultural position of the county and will visit a number of council facilities, along with some of the beautiful sights that Donegal has to offer.

 

Today the delegation will visit the Regional Cultural Centre in Letterkenny where they will receive an overview of Council services, including details on Cultural service activities and an overview of the work of the Local Enterprise Office in Donegal.

 

In the afternoon they will visit the Waste Water Treatment Plant in Letterkenny and will finish off their day with a tour of Glenveagh National Park.

 

Tomorrow, Tuesday the Palestinian Ambassador to Ireland, Mr Ahmad Abdelrazek will join the delegation along with Mr. Jihad Jaara and Mr. Rami Al Kamel.

 

The delegation will travel to the west of the county to visit Ionad Naomh Pádraig, Dore; Pobalscoil Ghaoth Dobhair, Dungloe Public Service Centre and Carrickfinn beach.

 

An Cathaoirleach, Cllr. John Campbell will host a welcoming reception on Tuesday at 2pm in the Dungloe Public Services Centre.

 

On Wednesday they will travel to the south-west to see the cliffs at Sliabh Liag and the Tourism College, Killybegs where they will receive an overview of tourism activity in the county.
